Núñez is the last stop on the D line before Buenos Aires ends, and that relative remoteness is exactly its appeal. The neighborhood offers something rare in BA: space. Streets are wider, buildings are lower, and you can actually see the sky.

It's home to River Plate's Monumental stadium, the Ciudad Universitaria campus, and a growing cluster of modern apartment towers along Avenida del Libertador. For expats, Núñez represents excellent value — you get northern-zone safety and quality at rents 20-30% below Belgrano and 40-50% below Palermo. The neighborhood is particularly popular with families and professionals who work remotely and don't need to be in the center daily.

The Costanera Norte waterfront is walking distance for jogging and cycling, and the weekend markets at the stadium area are lively. The main trade-off is the commute — 35-45 minutes by Subte to the city center, though Uber and taxis are cheap alternatives. The restaurant scene is limited but improving.
